  I think you need a bit of practical help with the door Daniel. 

  Just goes to show that importing cars is not without its problems. 

  On one recent car,  the shippers had strapped it down using the exhaust
  brackets and ruined the whole system and rear facia!

  I picked up my car from Southampton toady and it was a disaster.

  The car in the states had all of the fuel drained off and then run until
  it
  died of fuel starvation.  Now at this end there was no record of that so
  the
  dock workers repeatedly tried to start it with no fuel and now if fails

  turn over on the key.  The AA are bringing it back on a low loader.  Now
  I¹m
  not sure if it is a dead battery or that they have burned out the
  starter,
  but if bump started it starts.

  The second problem is the drivers door front latch does not seem to
  release
  so I cant open the door. Is there any tricks to opening it ?  The inside
  panels are off and I¹ve had a fiddle with the rods but it still wont
  open.

  Other than that 4754 looks in very good condition, chassis looks very
  good.
