  Well, it was inevitable I suppose.

  DVLA in Wimbledon must process about a thousand cars a week.

  They select 3 (yes, three) for 'random' inspection before issuing the
registration documents.

  Guess which car they chose?

  So now i've got to schlep over to Wimbledon, during working hours o get an
inspection (which presumably it may fail) without plates or tax.  They'll
come to me but it may take two months to arrange.

  Given the number of D's in the country, it really is amazing how often
they seem to require import inspection.

  Is there a pressure group we could form, or something
