FWIW, I just spoke to my local scrap yard, they will collect/scrap the engineless Volvo for £30.00 which I didn't think was too bad. On removal of the engine, do I need to retain the ECU, wiring etc....? this is all speculation as I haven't actually looked under the bonnet of this car yet! James
