[doc]

Mr. Parnham,
Please excuse the off-list email, I have been reading
the DOC emails as they come through and just seen your one about your work.
What good timing you have!

I am currently looking for a Plating company to take on some work
for my company as one of my current suppliers is letting me down. Just to
give you a little back ground on us; We are a fabrication company based in
Stoke-on-Trent for around 20 years, mostly producing parts for the Yellow
Goods industry and a few small items for automotive companies. We build a
wide range of parts from Chassis assemblies, some body panels, various
bracket-work (from engine mounts to brake line brackets) to attachments such
as digger buckets and lifting jibs.

A lot of our parts need, or have assembly parts, that require
plating. The majority of plating we have done is Standard Zinc and Yellow,
but have regular requirements for Zinc and clear and Zinc and black. Several
jobs need to have Hydrogen de-embrittlement after. As an addition we have
many different pivot pins that need coating in a range of finishes (but
plating is above my understanding really and so I won't try and think what
their names are.)

If you could send me some details of what you do there and whether
or not you would be interested in looking at this kind of work.

Best Regards,
                    Simon

My day job ( Derby Plating Services Ltd)  means that we always have a
stand at Beaulieu ( Red Field),  its great fun and brings in lots of
work for us. The site is HUGE and even after a couple of days, I still
don't get to see everything.

There is also a DeLorean in the museum.

See some of you there.

Hi,

I would recommend ANYONE with a remote interest in Classics (and not
so classics) to go to Bealieu autojumble at least once.

As for size, just when you thought you have seen it all, another
multi-acre field looms into view!!

Apologies to any MG drivers, but one of this events endearing
qualities is every other stand/stall is not selling remanufactured
MG shiney bits and steering wheels or miracle car polishes!

Thats my soapbox.

Simon
