[doc] Re: Front fascia

remmeber not to use just any primer you have to use a plastic etch
primer first if you dont if there is any bare plastic showing the
paint is likely to peel in that spot.also give a good key for the
paint to stick.say p600 grade wet and dry if using primer
if your fascia is just dull with some deep scrathing and
even patches of dark plastic i think theres no need too use a colour
primer just an etch primer{which are normaly clear}{upol 2000k
plastic etch primer is the best iv seen}so sand down with p1000 grade
paper then just apply your colour base coat then WITHIN THE HOUR put
the lacqure on remember this needs to have a good plastisicer mixed
with it normaly 25 percent. if you follow these instructions your
have no crazzing cracking or those big stone chips where the paint
just falls off the fascia.REMEMBER TO SPIRIT WIPE BEFORE AND AFTER
EACH STAGE to avoid reactions.
i am told  the delorean fascia when leaving the factory wasnt
very glossy as they used a semi mat finish laquer so i searched all
my paint supplyers for an exact match of texture and i found it.for
people not in the trade i found which companys use it with there
label on.mercedes sell this ready in a can but im not sure if it will
last on plastic so im doing some tests but it perfectly matches my
untouched facsia
