[doc] Removing door panel???..........Help :)

Can any one give me some advice to help me get to my window 
mechanisum....damm window has stopped working in the down position 
so i need to get to it in the short term to get it back up.
Is the door panel fixed any where except by those nasty brittle push 
in clips....i dont want to remove the door and damage it someway!!
