Yes, John, I got the cd yesterday. Many thanks. I like the pics you have
chosen for the web site and I am pleased to be on it now. Also thank you
for all the other stuff you put on the disc, you have quite a collection
there.
Thank you also to Chrispy for sending me the dvd. Excellent production. I
m glad my Irish effort can reach a wider audience.
Sorry to Martin that I coldn't make the filming - I intended to come but
have had several late nights trying to fix a computer virus (a particularly
nasty browser hijacker which slipped through Norton faster than a D with a
turbo) and I coldn't face getting up at 6am in order to be sure to reach
Knebworth through the M25 by 9.
I am happy to be deluged with replies from those who have have experienced
these things, but my speedo has never worked and I want to get it fixed.
What is the first thing to look for, and then what is the second? I hear
rumours of little plastic gearwheels which make me a bit wary. I have a
spare cable which came with the car but the previous owner told me it was
the wrong one, so perhaps it's the other cable. How should I test this?
All replies gratefully received.
Also, Chrispy, I am probably nearest to the 80's band (they are in Surbiton)
if they want the car for a photoshoot. Please put them in touch with me and
we'll see what can be arranged.
