Well MXI had it`s first DOC members veiwing today, Carl Hammond and his other half, his sister and his mate james came over to sunny (well maybe not!) Coddenham to have a good look round MXI 4811, armed with cameras and a video recorder... The shed doors were opened after 6 months to the delight of all, who all had their sit in MXI... some of Carls comments about how smart the car looked have given me the much needed kick up the **** to get MXI finished and out and about..
I would like to thank Chris Parnham for passing on Carl`s details on to me. Carl and I have meet up at the NEC and he said that he would like to see MXI and what I have done to her during my ownership... both Carl and James are looking for cars now they have seen MXI... (prepare for some phone calls Chris!!)
while they were at mine, they all had a look at my De Lorean books, models etc, coming away very impressed!. It really made me feel like I was helping some others to "Live the Dream"... long may it continue..........
