RE: [doc] Manual/Auto

Dan,
My understanding is it involves  altering of the plate, welded in the
chassis in the gear lever area. I don't think it would be much of a job once
the gear box was removed. I have heard of it being done. The auto box would
have some value as well, although, I do have a spare new one.

Hi all,

Probably best for those more techy than I this one!

If I bought a shell that WAS an auto (IE: no longer has the engine or
box) - how much needs changing to stick a manual in?

I'm sure the chassis was different between Manual and Auto cars -
anyone confirm that? I know it'd need a different pedal box etc but
I'm not concerned about such things - only if the chassis would need
significant work done.

Thanks!
