Hi Chris, I read with interest that you wrote without Lotus engineering there would have been no production of the Delorean car.. Yes that is true Chris, but did you ever think about the possibily that the huge cost of the necessary Lotus engineering, because of the short design period set by the government, may have also been a major factor in the failure of the car? Regarding no one from N. Ireland attending the Lotus event I can say that I am an owner and would have been very anxious to attend the event but as it was organised a week after Eurofest and the 25th anniversary of the plant it was too much to organise in a fortnight. It is a pity you are not attending Eurofest as I am sure it will be a great event but probably like me, two Delorean events in a fortnight is just too much. Regards G.
