Thanks Glen for the discussion, John T and myself also prefer that mounting
the transducer down near the pedals in the cockpit is best from a longevity
point of view.  Alpine do offer an alternative solution which I think will
be far more expensive and probably not as accurate/durable.

Thanks so much for helping out with the research!

Actually, I would prefer to have the sensor just by
the pedals so to have easy access... while kept away
from the harsh enviornment near the wheel...
