This is pretty much impossible to help with remotely

Black wires are usually ground in the DeLorean loom.

You'll have to trace the wire back to is origin, unless you can be sure
it's part of the wiring loom in which case it *should* be a ground wire.

Testing continuity to battery negative may help you determine for sure
