I never said that the role of the accumulator was to colelct crud, I am saying that due to the design of the k-jet fuel system, dirt happens to collect here.
The accumulator prior to the filter I was referring is from this standard k-jet diagram:
http://www.auto-solve.com/mech_inj.htm
Fuel Tank>Accumulator>Filter>Fuel Distributor>
With the classic Delorean problem of hot starting, it is usually the accumulator that fails due to dirt and is well documented.
I hope you weren't referring to myself giving poor advice as it could be read this way.
With this being an informal newsgroup I was under the impression that we can all give our advice, opinions and experiences on here rather than using it as a blatant means of advertising of ones company. If individuals wished to use your services then surely they would contact you direct.

No, you said and a quote again " The accummulator is in the fuel line prior
to the filter so any crud will always accumulate (cough-cough) here."
"any crud will always" are the key words here. Crud will not always collect
in the accumulator.
The accumulator's first job is to help smooth out any pulses in the flow of
the fuel, this is achieved by passing the fuel through a series of baffles
and into a chamber giving it slight capacitance and a much smother flow.
Its other and possibly more important role is to maintain pressure within
the system when the fuel pump has been switched off. Nothing to do with
collecting crap in the fuel system.
I'm not into trying to prove who knows more about this or that I'm smarter
than someone else. I'm just trying to stop poor advice leading to people
wrecking there cars and costing them an arm and a leg to fix. A metering
head can cost over 500 quid to rebuild and injectors also cost a bit.
We all agree that a clean fuel system means a healthy Delorean but if
everything is not clean then adding detergents and allowing the crud to
dissolve and move around the system is just bad advice.
On a lighter note we have accumulator's, injectors, fuel pumps, fuel lines
and filters available just in case :)
