Yowch
I know Verity has been quoted some £800 to insure the BX we found for
her. It -is- group 11 and goes like a scalded cat though.... Paid £100
for that and so far £165 in repair bills over 13,000 miles! Cheap
motoring :-)
I'm paying £800 with 2 years NCD (had employee scheme at Cable and
Wireless meant I lost my no-claims when I left but at £20 per month for
3 years who's counting). My Xantia is group 13.
My DeLorean is relatively expensive to insure compared to some of you
guys. I go through ClassicLine and it's on a driveway not in a garage. I
paid an extra £32 for european breakdown before going to LeMans, and set
the limit at 6000 miles. The bill came ro £311
