You bought the wrong car. Often insurance groups have little or nothing
to do with the car's value or speed. For example, the Peugeot 306 and
Citroen ZX are exactly the same car underneath, yet the ZX is a lower
insurance group because it wasn't known for being the stylish runabout
the 306 was. Honda Civic and Rover 200 I think are another example.
I got my first car at 19, am now 28 and insurance is still roughly the
same price it was back then.
