Yeah, it?s a shame about the barbies, you and Helen always cook up a
mean sausage! ;o)
 
Cold buffet sounds good, things like bbq ribs and chicken wings can
always be cooked in advance and taken along with salad, bread, sausage
rolls and of course liquid refreshments.
 
I?ve got my ticket already for Harpenden, but due to larger numbers of
cars attending each year I agree that I doubt anyone will get entry on
the night.  Also, as both your car and Flopsy will be there, that means
that both the consecutive VUR?s will be there.  James McPherson ? are
you bringing VUR602W to make up the group?
 
I saw on the Knebworth Show site that its £6.50 per person or £22 for a
group of 4 people, so maybe we could negotiate a ?club stand? rate or
something.  I?m sure I remember someone saying one year that we couldn?t
do a club stand because of public liability insurance or something.
 
So, are you volunteering to host the evening entertainment that Sunday
night then? :o)

For anyone planning on coming to the Harpenden Classics on the Common
event
you should book tickets in advance as they are saying cars will not be
admitted on the night.

It is on Wednesday 27th July from 4pm onwards.  It looks like the BBQ
idea
will have to be shelved this time, maybe a nice cold buffet or something
is
in order instead.

Also for the Knebworth event, are we going to book this with them as a
club
event, again we should be able to get tickets for £2 a car if booked in

I often help Mary out on the Regalia Stand so I plan to be there all
three days like last year.

Also, just a reminder, the big classic car show at Knebworth House is on
the Sunday and Monday of the forthcoming August Bank Holiday.  Very easy
to get to, it's literally at J7 of the A1 (Stevenage South/Ware
A602/Knebworth House exit).  I think our best turn out so far has been 8
cars, and last year we went 'en masse' into the showring on the Monday
to shut up the smart arse 'commentator'.
