Try taking it to bits John. Just be careful, I have a similar switch
that can replace most of the internals. They tend to melt.

My headlight switch suddenly blew today... smoke
coming out of it when I turned it on... then... it's
not functioning now.

I know this is not a readily available part... but
does anyone know where I can get a 2nd hand one
quickly??
