Re: [doc] In or Out?

Hi Mike,
Flopsy lives on the drive under a cover, and AON wernt bothered about
that when I renewed the insurance last month.  Also, as we can fit 2
cars on our drive Flopsy is effectively 'boxed in' between Daves car
and the garage door, then my daily driver is parked across the front
of the drive.  Mind you, Flopsy spent the best part of one year out on
the road in all weathers and was never touched, except for some kids
taking some snow off for a snowball fight.
I guess also, for insurance, it depends where you live. Insurance can
be a bit of a 'postcode lottery' sometimes from what I hear.
My premium (incl unlimited mileage) is £190 fully comp + 5% IPT.
Daves D lives in the garage, which (for a modern house) isnt a bad
size, its just over 8ft wide and about 16ft long, plus as its got a
pitched roof.  We've boarded that out and fitted a retractable loft
ladder. which gives some more storage too.  We can get both doors up
in the garage.
I also rent a garage off Stevenage Council near my mum's house which
is where the Astra and the C5 and loads of other stuff lives. That is
about £8 per week now which I dont think is too bad really especially
as that includes maintenance.
Good luck with your search - and remember to take a tape measure with you!
