RE: [doc] Car number plates

not quite D related, but does anyone know where i would be able to get a set of black and silver pressed metal plates made up for my '68 beetle (she's now called Measles, Mumps and Rubella as the reg plate is MMR 560G and she's not feeling too good!)?
thanks Dave S

Not unless you sucessfully apply to the DVLA to re-register your car which
has been allocated a 'W' registration, to be redesignated as an 'X'
registration.  Once you have sucessfully done that, then you can put a
private plate with X or older on it.    Otherwise, no.

Hi there from personal experience buying my Delorean, I made a point of
search the whole internet including e-bay, private sellers, delorean clubs
in the US, I knew just about every Delorean for sale.  Whilst hunting around
I found and spoke to Buyerservicesinternational.com an english guy Paul was
very helpful and steered me in the right direction to the point that when
I'd found a potential Delorean they would and could arrange for around $275
including photo's and a test drive a 150 point report similar to the AA
report.  As already mentioned both Martin at DMUK and Chris Parnham can also
be more than helpful, Martin particually once the car  was in the UK was
fantastic-Oh and a special thanks to Dan Shane.

      Hi Colm

      Thanks for info.

Do you feel the "best" car I can get, will come from DMCH, and is it
      worth the premium ?
