Perhaps the Transport Museum did appraoch him after all and ask him to
withdraw it pending funds.  Perhaps it was all a scam anyway.  I find it
very ofdd that the owner, who knew everything about the car when he was
interviwed for the DOA MAgazine, had to amend the Ebay advert to show the
build date as 1977 - surely he knew that...?

I wonder if we'll ever find out.
