RE: [doc] DeLorean Prototype on eBay

This car was the subject of a picture feature spread in the Delorean Owners
Association Magazine this month.  The pictures are all taken from those in
the magazine. The chap featured in the article (sorry, I've temporarily
mislaid the magazine) said he might think of selling to the right owner. He
lives in Nevada

Now, someone might have read the article and just nicked the idea - but I
can't imagine anyone is going to hand over $100,000 plus without checking
the bone fides pretty carefully.   The best way to check would be with the
DOA who would presumably know one way or the other.

I'd be amazed in Delorean One or DMCH didn't snap it up.  It is (despite the
price tag) a bargain - this is the car that JZD sat in to launch the whole
project.  £60,000 buys you a new Range Rover (just) - which puts it in
perspective.
