Actually colm, another great thing to do (well for me, as a bored
programmer one day) was to write a little program that would visit the
phishing site over and over again, filling it with bogus usernames and
passwords, leave it running on a server for a few days, and their
databases get totally filled with crap.

You get loads of these, including very genuine looking ones from 
PayPal.  E-bay ask that you forward every 'phishing' e-mail to 
spoof@xxxxxxxxx  I do so religiously but I'm not aware what good it 
does...

Basically if you get any e-mail from ebay or paypal or your bank 
asking you to confirm or re-enter your personal account details it 
is 100% a genuine phishing e-mail.  Similarly ones telling you your 
account is suspended.
