RE: [doc] FW: DMC Forum - PJ Grady flaming

Martin,
Graham put it exactly right. I wasn't suggesting that you were involved in
this unpleasantness.

I just don't think that it brings credit to any of the parties to "pour
petrol on the flames".

I don't even follow these other newsgroups, life's too short, my blood
pressure too high, and it's only a hobby at the end of the day.

BTW a big thank-you to all who have renewed their club subs already,
especially those generous members who have paid over the odds. All the
outstanding post/renewals/ new members etc have been despatched, including
our American members.

I have got to get around to writing to the rest of you as soon as I can. So
if you renew in the next few days you will save me a job.

As its my "year end", paying work has to take priority currently.

Best regards

Chris Parnham

Martin,
I think Chris's point was that you are now a 'supplier' and fall into
the same category as P J Grady, and his hope is that you won't be 'drawn
into'........ He is not suggesting that you would 'start......'

I am slightly put out that you might think that - I had nothing to do
with that particular flame war, though have had quite animated
discussions on the DMC Forum - always about techncal issues.
