Radio - Argghh

I thought to myself this morning, since there's sod all on telly I'll
pull the Craig radio out my new car and have a quick look at it.

Undo the nuts and withdraw the radio through the vents says the manual.
30 minute job thinks me, I can have that done before dinner...

What the manual neglects to say is that to get the damn radio out you
have to dismantle half the flaming interior! Good grief. An hour and a
half later, grazed knuckles, blue air and covered in half the Arizona
desert....

Anyway, I've fixed the broken ribbon cable but there are other bits I
need to sort. The circuit diagrams in the member's area are a good
overview, but I really need to be able to read the component values.
Anybody got some really clear scans of the circuit diagrams they could
email me??

Dear All,

I hope you are all getting through the Christmas period OK, not too much
food and drink!

I am typing this on my new keyboard, bought for me my one of my
sons....very
smart, with separate buttons for internet etc.

I'm just about to go and work on Frency for an hour of two.

We are having a load of visitors for tea time.

My daughter commissioned and had made a bath of rear window stickers,
with
the club logo, website on and the words " my other car has Gull wing
doors",
very posh!

I had another imaginative gift from young Andrew, he has modified a Sun
Star
DeLorean to RHD, with all the other changes including rear lights, roof
Arial etc! A real one off.

On Christmas eve, I did a "charity" job for a young man with "Backy" it
caused traffic to size up in the middle of town! But he had a great
time,
with loads of photo's!

On a different note, a club member who has been having problems with his
Deloreans Auto box for some time, took the sudden decision to buy
himself a
new gear box! Fair enough, (personally I don't think he needed it and
indeed
it still has not solved the problem) but had he told me or Dave before
he
acted, we both have spare "brand new" auto gear boxes at a fraction of
the
price he paid! If you are contemplating spending "loads of dosh" speak
to
me or Dave first, we could well save you a load of your "hard earned"
cash.

Pictures of many of the above in the next mag.

Best regards,

Don't forget your renewals for 2004.
