Yep that's a real good way of stoping an opportunist theif from 
jumping in and driving off into the sunset, you could also put 
anouther switch inline with the ineria switch for a bit more 
security.

Thats what I plan to do in the new year. perhaps a 2nd switch under 
the dash or somthing
