Hi Ian

When I originally looked to ship my and Rich J's D's (as a pair) I took 
Dan WIllis' advice and sought out a US-based firm to do it. I found an 
excellent site with a huge long list of shipping companies. Once I'd 
ruled out those who wouldn't take non-runners, I then scaled down the 
search to those who actually quoted me for a point-to-point journey - 
where the cars were being stored to Southampton. Transcar was the only 
company that did this. We each paid $1245 from Lexington NC via 
Charleston SC. I have to say that Richard's quotes seem strangely high.
