Hi Paul

I knew this - they realised that there were more and more 25+ year-old 
cars going tax free so the benefit was withdrawn several years ago. I 
believe the old K reg is the "youngest" free plate you can own.

I doubt many asylum seekers can afford to run a car, petrol or no 
petrol. If they were allowed to work and pay tax, I'm sure they would.
