RE: [doc] Cheap car needs quick sale

Hi Chris

I am currently talking to the guy at the moment and offered him 8k, it needs
a lot of work and is still sitting on the old jacked springs.

The chap has been offered 10k from a dealer, I said take it.

He will come back to me the dealer does not buy it

If this is the car with the sun damaged interior, then much better cars
have
been bought by club members for a LOT less, I would value it at about 8K.

Hi All

The car that was on ebay a week ago didn't sell. The guy selling it
needs shot of it FAST. He's "Prepared to accept a more realistic price
for it". I told him it was worth £11-12k tops, though better cars have
gone for less in the not too distant past. I have not given it a
thorough going over but engine wise, everything has been overhauled, so
has the fuel tank, and a recent MOT would suggest the brakes are OK.

The current owner is moving to the US in a couple of weeks and wants it
sold by then. The car is in generally good shape, but needs cosmetic
work, and has one small dent in aquarter panel. I'm in Reading till
friday now if anyone wants to go and view it (it's near Aylesbury)

Mail me for more details and photos. It's VIN 5424 and has 37k miles,
grey manual.

Martin
