Well all works and power is getting to the solenoid... I guess there is something up at the starter.... Brand new solenoid... Could the starter be stuck in the engaged position??? Hi Mate Found the info you need: The relay to try is number 10, second from left on the top row (nearest wheel arch). You can check the ignition signal is getting to it by removing the relay and looking for the #86 contact (this is written on the relay and is the standard for DIN relays). It's the one that has a White/Red wire going to it. Using your multi meter, check that when the key is in position 3 (crank) this pin has 12v on it - don't owrry, with this relay removed, the engine cannot crank. If it does, also check the pin opposite is ground (using the beep-test, remember?). Or you could just "borrow" your high-beam relay and plug it in, see if the engine cranks. If the above test shows up okay (relay is getting power), then the next tes tis to trace supply to the solenoid.
