Ok I should be fine with those dates. As for facia painting, it's really only the back one above the black that needs doing. The rest is fine.. it's just oxydised... not really sure what to do with it! Dan, we can have a massive fascia painting session if you like as I had already agreed with Steve that I'd have a crack at both his and Tinny's if he paid for enough paint :-) I'm not up to Chris N's ability but can do a pretty decent job and it costs about £50 in paints and you can always go again if you cock it up. The biggest problem is finding a warm dry well lit indoor area that's big enough to be able to walk around what you're doing. Most of the boo-boos on mine are caused by the cramped and dusty garage I did them in. Steve, are you coming past Reading in the near future? I can't bring both Lex and the facias off Tinny. Dan which fascia do you need to do? You'd be better off doing both at once as the black bits end up a lot blacker and the shade of paint is never a spot-on match. I know taking the front fascia off is a bugger but sometimes you have to suffer.... I NEED to paint my facia though - and would appreciate some guidance when doing it. Here's to Februrary then?
