It's a nice idea, not convinced however. After a quick discussion we think this would extend from the use of sacrificial zinc on a ship's hull, however this relies on salt water and probably a large flat area.

I'd spend my money on two tins of Hammerite, a few sheets of sandpaper and an hour on a 2-poster once a year :-)
