Jan,
It sounds like you need one of these little auto battery top up gismo's. I
had one on Delores all last winter, it worked fine.
You can of course charge the battery up from the engine bay, without
removing it, using the red lead thingy.

I guess he is; I had problems with all THREE of my cars this weekend!

First my Nissan refuses to switch off the alarm so I can't get inside
let alone start it up. So I decide to take my DeLorean to work;
dead battery! So as a last resort I take off the "For Sale" sign on
my Escort, start it up (thank god it did) and then find the heater
not working... DAMN!

At least I got the Nissan running again, bypassing the alarm,
The Escort only had a blown fuse, so that's Okay too, but my D is
still sitting :-( I can't get to it as my father has put sevaral
containers in front of my CarTainer AND my RH door can't open when
inside, so I'm going to have to wrestle out the battery over the
center console; last time it took me over 80 minutes to do so...

I don't even mind that I can't drive my DeLorean THAT much,
but it's got 3 of my favourite CD's in the changer and it won't
eject the magazine without power...
On the Up-side; I KNOW why my battery is dead...

Maybe I'll have better luck next weekend,
if Paul doesn't try to work on his car again :o)
