Re: [doc] Delorean Service items

James he will have no problem matching up parts when he gets the car - they're all still available off-the shelf just about everywhere (even Halfords)

If you really want to, the Diesel Centre could give you references for all the service items. 01580 890666

Info on bleeding the coolant system other than what? The water pump has a bleed screw.... Are you flushing the system? Read this

http://www.dmcnews.com/Techsection/cooling.htm

You should check the Trailing Arm Bolts. Replace them if bent and torque to 55ft-lbs with the weight of the car on the wheels (need 4-poster for this). CAREFUL if you have to remove them, there are alignment shims which must be replaced exactly as they come out. Lubricate the angle drive, check handbrake adjustment and twiddle if necessary. Anyone else?

Hi all,
I've got my Delorean booked in for a full service down at my local indepentant Jag specialist, I've just received my workshop manual I ordered from P.Grady and was wondering if there's any service items that are now used in replacement for older servicing parts, I could do with part item/number for

Spark Plugs / Air Filter /Oil filter/ fuel filter etc.

It's just abit more info I can pass on to my garage chap, before he starts.

Also I had a quick flick through, I was wondering if there was any other info on bleeding the coolant system once filled?

Finally can anyone think of any other item or items that should be checked or changed during the service.
