Hana and her magical MOT

All,

Today, 28th June 2002, I took my car in for her MOT.. and she didn't 
even get to the ramp! The brake pedal took a disliking to the place 
and hit the floor.. I limped home and re-bled the system and took her 
back in at 2pm...

AND SHE PASSED!

Yey!

This will make two attempts but three visits to the test station in 
the last fortnight. The first time was an easy fail on a twisted 
brake cable and the handbrake didn't work on one side... all easily 
fixed.

Now I just have to wait for the paperwork and plates... oh and my 
speedo does squat but that's less important right now.

PS. On a different note, while finishing off the brakes this morning 
a blokey drove past in his very normal Astra... I heard a screech and 
then the same car reversed in to my driveway. Out popped the most 
excited person I've seen in years... lives one road away and has 
wanted one since childhood! Let him sit in the car - made his day (so 
he said). Ahh... made me grin too! ;o)
