I did look for these for a while with little luck as they are so 
short so I got my originals refilled by Dave Howarth (I am not sure 
if he can still get them done).

However the other day I was looking in the back of my friends car 
and I noticed that his Peugeot 406 saloon (i think) had very short 
gass struts on its boot lid. 
I think the most likely cross reference is going to come from a 
saloon car as all the others I checked, mini, rover metro, etc.., 
where all too long.
