Cheers Martin, could you send me the schematic in an email, just tried to download it from your link, and I get a connection failed error. Our intY firewall does some wierd shit on occasion, serves us right for using a system because it was free:)

The door lock module simply activates the central locking. You'll lose
this functionality when it's unplugged. The doors and the locks will
work fine.

You need to have a look at the schematic yourself :-) It's here:
