Re: [doc] Digs at D's (again)

Tanker?

:P

This guy reminds me off all the arrogant t**ts that I would see at the NEC, the kno-it-all ultra-ego types, who'd walk past, scoff, and tell thier mates about what a piece of s**t the DeLo was. Sigh. Still it was fun, I really enjoyed "doing my time" on the DOC stand.

I remember when one guy came past with his mates, and said "That brushed aluminium finish is really tacky." To which I replied, "It's stainless steel, actually." "No, it isn't," he replied, rather curtley. "No, really, it is."

Eventually he gave up, and walked off. He never admitted it was stainless steel.

Gibbon.

These narrow minded flids are a good source of amusement to me, at any rate. It's thier loss, as far as I'm concerned. The DeLo is not the greatest car the world has ever seen, and it never will be. It is, however, once detached from the falsehoods and the history, a great car. Simple as that.

Tris is right - he's not worth bothering with. He can just go make to forming all his opinions from reading the Ultimate Classic Car book. The rest of us with minds of our own can have some fun :)

Matt
