We had a beautiful day today! I took the "D" out for
lunch today with my travel agent. She had a thrill... never sat in one
before! She said it was awesome, and couldn't believe I only had 5600
miles on it. Your Dusty is just starting out in life... like a baby still
in diapers! It must be pristine!
I think I've got a great flight plan put together to make the
most of my trip. First, I'm going to Scotland for 2 days, then to England
for 3 days, over to Ireland for 5 days/4 nights, and back to London for another
night before heading home to St. Louis on Memorial Day (28th). It appears
to be a great airline rate too now that we're finished playing around with the
fares... $1004. per person, round trip! I believe Belfast only tickets
would have been in the $600 to $900 range. Of course, it doesn't include
hotels and land travel. It sure is expensive in London! Anyway,
that's why I just had to take the agent out for lunch... I'm saving $1100
compared to what I started with!
