RE: [doc] Le Mans

Hi Nick,

A joint attack sounds good.
How about, to start with, I concentrate on getting us to Le Mans and an
overnight hotel on Thursday, you concentrate on the camping etc. there.

One more question to everyone, on the Sunday, race finishes at 4.30pm I
believe. Preference for staying at Le Mans on Sunday night, then long drive
on Monday (270 miles, 5 hours to Calais), or stay sober on the Sunday to
drive say halfway to Calais on Sunday night to make Monday less of a long
drive?

Also can we ask for an _expression_ of interest so we can get an idea of
numbers please.  My estimate is £175 max per car plus £40 each, so that's
under £130 each, 2 per car.  That includes ferry, camping, one night in
hotel.  Not comitting to anything, but so we know what size of group to
start negotiations with.

I would also propose some communal beer/BBQ etc. fund would be in order to
keep things simple.

Can somebody ask the Dutch club if they are interested in joining us?  Is
Jan van de Wouw still on the list here?

Cheers
Rich

Hi Rich,
I agree, we need to decide quickly which camp site to use.
I will post some info when I get home tonight.
I don't mind organising this trip between us.Its quite a big
job. Is this OK?  Your French will be very useful.
Best Regards
