The "Lotus06" will be the following weekend, Friday 2nd June- Sunday 4th
June.
We have plenty of time to sort out all the arrangements. We have
numerous DeLorean experts living in the area, who I expect to get to
speak at some of the events. I've spoken to Lotus and am arranging a
tour of the factory and drive's / rides around the (Lotus) test track.
I hope that some of our "American/ European" visitors will be able to
attend both events, but I do not intend to provide transport for
"Lotus06", so attendee's will have to think about car hire in England.
Doubtless some UK members will also be attending Eurofest, (particularly
if they have never driven their cars abound the DeLorean test track). I
understand all DOC members will be given invites, probably in Spring 05,
when some costing indications will be available.
As I have said before, I don't see these two events as competing with
each other, but complimentary. Be assured that our event will be as
inexpensive as I can make it.
2006 looks like being a very good time to own a DeLorean!
