My girlsfriend's dad used to work in C&E - I'll have a chat with him
tonight about it and see why it's happened (he might have an idea).
Can we not petition against it? Owners or not? I've imported TWO
with BTIs (still have the copies) and I think this sucks.
I'm looking at imported a 2005 Corvette next year and there's no way
round the import duty on that - but that makes sense; not on a 20-
odd year old car!
