[doc] CUSTOMS CLEARANCE

Hiya,
as the arrival of my D gets closer.... now scheduled for 26th July in 
Southampton i'm still struggling to sort out my collection of it.

TRAILER:  I've been kindly offered the loan of trailer from Chrispy, and can 
also hire one cheapley locally.  Problem is finding a hire car company with 
a vehicle strong enough with a fitted tow-bar.  It seems for insurance 
purposes most hire places wont have towbars fitted.

SINGLE CAR TRANSPORTER:  Have discovered Willhire rent out single car 
transporters with a winch for the £116 per day - a good option, but as my 
local Wilhire in Peterborough don't stock them locally I would have to book 
it an advance for the exact day its needed.

....Problem there is I can't 'cause no one can tell me for sure when it's 
likely to clear customs after its arrival.  Naturally, I want to pick it up 
the first day I can.

Anybody got any Arrival date - Customs Clearance examples from their 
imported D's please or other ideas?
