Component 72 is the hazard switch, 71 is your indicator switch

I would suspect a poor connection between plug and hazard switch, try
pulling the plug off and then pushing it back on, did the trick for me.
The switches are poor quality and suffer from bad contacts; they can be
repaired but will explode into lots of bits when you take them apart.
