This country has loads of hand built car manufacturers such as Noble, Aston
Martin, Lotus, TVR and the list goes on.  I would first approach them
clarifying that you are looking for suitable carpet and that you can supply
your existing pieces as templates.  Aston would provide a really thick shag
which on my car would be great for sound deadening....... hmmmm!!!
Otherwise, classic car upholsterers could show you in advance how suitable
they are for your car and your needs.

My carpet incidentally is fine in the texture department but has suffered
from the Arizona sun.... does anyone know of carpet dye which would stain my
grey back to an equal overall finish and would not suffer from heat and
moisture???
