There was definitely something there in 1996, nut all later efforts to find
it ended in failure.

The main problem is that Lotus seem genuinely embarrassed by their previous
DeLorean connections and have vigorously destroyed anything they can find
that reminds them of it.

I fear this includes the very dilapidated remains of any early cars. We were
told during the "Cars the Stars" filming, that they had burnt everything!
Blooming vandals.
