I'm sure I'd heard somewhere that the Government got quite a bit of
money back and that ok £85m was lent, but there was 'only' about £26m
outstanding. Anybody know different/the truth? 

When people go on at me about Govt money I just retort with references
to other things paid for with Taxpayers money, the Millenium Dome I
think is a classic example.  Will that be standing in years to come
when we are still prowling the streets in our D's??

Also, if you get the smart arse comment "I own a piece of that car",
its always handy to have some spare part (no longer required of
course!) under the bonnet - we've given out a couple of LHD headlamps
to bemused smart arses!!
