I hope I can answer that for you. I worked for de lorean motor cars ltd. not the company. the 85 million pounds was for the cars not the company.in the words of sir Kenneth cork the joint receivers,"money went walk about" in other words some money went from the cars to the company to make snow ploughs in Switzerland and other projects so there was no control over the money.there were two Westminster mps on the board to keep a eye were  the money was spent.If I am wrong in this I hope someone  will put me right.
