Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Dear DML, I am curious about the wide black stripe option. I had heard a long time ago from somewhere that it was only an option on the '81 cars. Can anyone confirm this or am I just wrong? I have also heard of a possible option for a thin light grey stripe and still cannot find a pic of a D with that on it. Is this a myth, anyone? Like Darren, I am having a hard time trying to find a clutch master cylinder. I've tried Delorean one, DMC Houston, PJ Grady, no luck. Does anyone have an idea of where I can get one? I really want to start driving my D. The summer in Alaska is very short and time is wasting away. Anyone else on the list from Alaska? Allard, Jr., Bankruptcy Trustee of the DeLorean Motor Company, announced today that claims brought by the Trustee against Arthur Andersen in the New York state courts in connection with the failure of the DeLorean Motor Company nearly 20 years ago have been settled out of court for an undisclosed amount. The Trustee's trial counsel was Chadbourne & Parke LLP and Arthur Andersen's trial counsel was Brown & Wood LLP. The settlement is subject to bankruptcy court approval in Detroit. In early 1998, a jury in a New York State Supreme Court found in favor of the Trustee, and Arthur Andersen filed post-verdict motions asking the court to set aside the verdict and dismiss the case. Before the court rendered a decision on the post-trial motions, the parties reached the settlement announced today. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ eGroups.com home: http://www.egroups.com/group/dmcnews http://www.egroups.com - Simplifying group communications ------------------------------ message 647 ------------------------------ http://www.eGroups.com/list/dmcnews/?start=647 X-Mailing-List: dmcnews@egroups.com X-URL: http://www.egroups.com/list/dmcnews/ MIME-Version: 1.0 Date: Sat, 22 May 1999 14:54:42 -0000 From: dloreanboy@aol.com In-Reply-To: <22ae514f.24776b77@aol.com> Subject: [DML] Re: Wide stripe option? Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Darren, A DeLorean Owner here in Ireland, John Corkey, has the thin grey stripe option on his car. It looks nicer than the thick black stripe in my opinion. You can see a pic of John Corkey's DeLorean on my website "John's Irish DeLorean Webpage" at http://homepage.tinet.ie/~johndore (it's the very first pic in the Photo Gallery section of my site) You'll have to look closely to see it - it's a very light grey, and near the top of the bodypanels!
