Was there not a set of Lotus springs for the front that would bring the front end to spec height? Thus leaving the back end factory? My understanding is that only the front was riased to match bumper height regulations, the back was fine as is. Follow up question, are the DMC-12's in Europe still at spec? Or did they get raised as well? -=mike=- restoring #702 *-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-* | http://www.poulincomm.com | | http://www.WWJP.com | *-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-* On Thu, 20 May 1999, Oh Henry wrote: > I stumbled across these neat pictures of a lowered DeLorean vs. a stock > DeLorean at the DMC website. > > http://www.usadmc.com/catalog/lowering.html > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ eGroups.com home: http://www.egroups.com/group/dmcnews http://www.egroups.com - Simplifying group communications ------------------------------ message 623 ------------------------------ http://www.eGroups.com/list/dmcnews/?start=623 X-Mailing-List: dmcnews@egroups.com X-URL: http://www.egroups.com/list/dmcnews/ From: "Stian Birkeland" Date: Thu, 20 May 1999 11:20:09 PDT Mime-Version: 1.0 Subject: [DML] DeLorean One / DMC Houston Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Has anyone ever heard the real reason why D1 and DMC Houston split? Anyway, I've used both D1 (stainless steel bumper letters) and DMC Houston (all manuals)and both have provided me with A+ service! Keep up the good work!!! Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Response to a North Carolina get together has been over whamming. But Sunday is just to close of a date for most people to come, as most people have made prior plans. So Bill and I have discussed this and have come to the conclusion that it would be best to hold off and plan this thing out just a little. As it stands right now out of all the response that I have received there could be has many as six Deloreans, several enthusiast and someone to offer us some tech tips and parts that he has for sale. So with this information we think that it would be best to post pone the get together so that we can accommodate as many people as we can. The best way I can think of doing this is to get the dates of when you can come. Lets say for the month of July. From this information I will be able to determine which date in July will accommodate the most people. The more people and cars that we have, I think the more fun that we will have.
