FINALLY...after watching this DML for the past 3 years i can finally post my own problem and have you all listen to them!!! what a great feeling. thanks for you help Erik Geerdink VIN# 4512 YES!!!! Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit The DeLorean is not in a music video, however it is in one of the infobites in an episode of "Pop Up Video." The episode was "Pop Up Video 1980's Cars" and the DeLorean was NOT put down in any way, however their information on the car was (as usual) not completely accurate. They played a soundbite of JZD with Christina talking about the car prior to its debut. It was so bad that I was getting a rash everytime I worked on the car. I used "Citra-Solv" cleaner and degreaser (Chempoint Products 800-343-6588). Worked really well and smells great. I had the carpets cleaned professionally but ended up ripping them out and replacing them (both bottom and side). Unfortunately, all painted metal that was sitting in the clutch fluid seems to be totally stripped of paint! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address to moderator@dmcnews.com, not to the eGroups address shown ------------------------------ message 1176 ------------------------------ http://www.eGroups.com/list/dmcnews/?start=1176 X-Mailing-List: dmcnews@egroups.com X-URL: http://www.egroups.com/list/dmcnews/ Date: Sun, 27 Jun 1999 16:47:03 -0700 From: delorean502@excite.com Subject: [DML] delorean radio Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit does the radio have an internal fuse? my radio went out yesterday and all the fuses are good, but the radio still doesnt work. i plan on getting a new radio put in, but not for a month or so...i want my tunes! thanks for the help...this DML ROCKS!!! erik geerdink vin# 4512 Plate: "eggs d" ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address to moderator@dmcnews.com, not to the eGroups address shown ------------------------------ message 1177 ------------------------------ http://www.eGroups.com/list/dmcnews/?start=1177 X-Mailing-List: dmcnews@egroups.com X-URL: http://www.egroups.com/list/dmcnews/ From: magriese@us.ibm.com Date: Sun, 27 Jun 1999 20:31:02 -0500 Mime-Version: 1.0 Subject: [DML] Re: Repair shops in California Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Lynda - DeLorean One is the closest repair facility to you. You do not have to take anything out to reach them but you almost need to stand on your head. Believe it or not, my D had NO fuses in these lines from the factory! The original owner did not care when the radio did not work and never bothered to have it fixed. I am not a radio nut either (due to poor hearing mainly) and never run radios, but wanted everything working, so had it checked. The tech found the empty fuse containers. When replaced it came to life for the first time since it left Ireland! In the past few days everyone using a "hotmail" address showed up in the bounce list. I just reset it yesterday. If you ever notice that the DML has stopped showing up for more than a day or two, one of the following has probably happened. If you think it has, and you have corrected the problem on your end, contact the moderator@dmcnews.com to have one of us reset your status. EGROUPS note: A subscriber whose address is listed as "Bouncing" is one whose e-mail host is reporting an error of some sort when we attempt to deliver a message. This can be caused by temporary network disconnects, running out of disk space for e-mail, non-payment of an ISP bill, or in the case of students, graduation. If after three weeks of trying once per day, the e-mail account still does not work, eGroups will stop attempting. The subscriber, if registered, will still be able to come to the website and read the messages there. For those times when a subscriber lets you know that their e-mail account is working again, we provide a way to reset the bounce status. Once the status is reset, the system will again try to deliver each message, rather than just one per day. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address to moderator@dmcnews.com, not to the eGroups address shown ----------------------------------------------------------------- -- View the full archives, subscribe/unsubscribe, use the group calendar at http://www.eGroups.com/list/dmcnews Manage your subscriptions at http://eGroups.com Free e-mail groups by eGroups.com.
